My Thoughts
From these quotes I have learned that the Lord wants us to gain a testimony of Him. He knows our hearts, desires, and questions. He will answer them although it may take time. Until more light comes we need to prepare our hearts to receive that light. The Lord will give it to us when we are ready for it. He has given us ways to prepare our hearts to receive a testimony and additional knowledge. This includes continual prayer and scripture study, fasting, temple attendance, being obedient to His commandments and our covenants, and service. As we do these things our hearts will be softened and prepared to receive the light when it comes from Him. Our testimony will bring us peace as we strive to become more like the Savior.
